One Tree Hill fan vid!
A couple of months back I heard that One Tree Hill were naming an episode after my song ‘Hate Is Safer Than Love’. I got all excited, seeing as the show has carried music from some of my favourite bands, but then I discovered they weren’t actually using the song. Bleh.
Hurrah, then, for Youtube user thexrafa, who made it possible for me to pretend, at least for a moment, that the CW played my stuff to 3 million people. Watch it after the jump-
I have no idea what any of the people in the video are doing. But I’ve always secretly felt that the song has a lot to say about basketball.
Bonus trivia- I actually wrote a song called ‘Ballad of One Tree Hill‘ waaaaay back in 2001. Which also has nothing to do with the show. But I love a good coincidence.

Yeah, One Tree Hill names every episode after a song or some after a band. They usually try to name the episode with a song title that sums up the episode. It’s pays tribute to Peyton’s character for her love for music. At least you got noticed
